Auto Azerbaijan Presents Hyundai’s 7th Generation: Unveiling the Future of Luxury

WorldAuto Azerbaijan Presents Hyundai's 7th Generation: Unveiling the Future of Luxury

In a grand event hosted by Auto Azerbaijan, the official distributor of Hyundai in Azerbaijan, the much-anticipated debut of the 7th generation cars took place. Set against the stunning backdrop of Fairmont Baku Flame Tower on February 29th, Hyundai showcased its latest offerings, marking a significant milestone in the automotive landscape of the country.

Among the showcased models was the seventh-generation Hyundai Grandeur, known as the Azera in certain markets, which has been a stalwart in Hyundai’s lineup. Despite being discontinued in the American market after the 2017 model year, the Azera continues to thrive in various international markets, including Azerbaijan. Renowned for its luxurious features and impeccable performance, the Grandeur has garnered a loyal following over the years.

One of the highlights of the new Grandeur is its futuristic exterior design, which draws inspiration from Hyundai’s innovative approach to automotive styling. Taking cues from the head-turning Staria introduced in 2021, the Grandeur boasts a distinctive front end characterized by a massive grille and sleek rectangular headlights. The seamless integration of LED lighting further accentuates the vehicle’s width, adhering to Hyundai’s Seamless Horizon design language.

Contrary to the prevailing trend of “four-door coupe” designs, Hyundai opted for a more traditional approach with a relatively upright roofline, maximizing interior space. The incorporation of a third-side window pays homage to the original Grandeur, underscoring Hyundai’s commitment to blending heritage with modernity.

While technical specifications are yet to be released, it is expected that the Grandeur will offer a range of engine options, including four- and six-cylinder units. Front-wheel drive will be standard, with the possibility of all-wheel drive as an optional feature in select markets.

Although the 2023 Hyundai Azera is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2023, it won’t be making its way to the United States, where the demand for crossovers and SUVs dominates the market. Nevertheless, for enthusiasts in Azerbaijan and other international markets, the arrival of the seventh-generation Grandeur heralds a new era of luxury and performance in the automotive realm. With its striking design, advanced technology, and uncompromising quality, the Hyundai Grandeur sets a new benchmark for excellence in its segment, promising an exhilarating driving experience for discerning customers around the world.
